From One Kitchen to Three Communities
At Sufrat, the story begins with home. Founded in 2020 in Pembroke Pines, our concept was simple: bring authentic Mediterranean flavors, family-style hospitality, and recipes passed down through generations to the people of South Florida.
What started as one restaurant during the uncertainty of the pandemic has now grown to three locations, each built on the same belief that food tastes better when it’s shared.

A Founder’s Vision
Inspired by Tradition, Created for Connection
Sufrat was created by a family who believed that dining should be an experience of joy, generosity, and connection. The word Sufrat means “dining table” in Arabic, a symbol of gathering, sharing, and community.
Inspired by Mediterranean traditions and the gatherings of their own childhood, the founders envisioned a place where guests could always feel welcome.
